Volunteer
Give time on the flight line
Volunteers help us run safe, well-staffed sessions. No drone experience is required for most roles — we will train you.
- Session support — help set up, spot student pilots, and keep the flight line safe
- Instruction support — assist certified instructors during classes and labs
- Career speakers — share your work in aviation, technology, or public safety
- Events — staff community flight days and STEAM activations
- Skills-based — media, grant writing, data, or administrative support
Use the program inquiry form above and choose Volunteer or Mentor in the first step, or email us directly. We only ask for what we need to contact you.
How we partner
Community & Student Support Partnerships
- The partners
- Schools, youth-serving nonprofits, community institutions, and public agencies host Okii Dream Initiative drone education sessions where families and students already gather.
- The program
- Students start with an introductory flight session covering safety and controls, then continue with ongoing flight training and mission-based challenges.
- What the host provides
- A trusted, accessible community space where families already gather — so aviation shows up where the students are.
- Results
- Enrollment and outcome figures for this site are being verified and will be published on our Impact page.
